Existem sítios, lugares, espaços e atmosferas que nos ficam para sempre gravados na memória. 

Pode ser o som das escadas de madeira de uma casa onde já habitamos, pode ser o cheiro da lenha queimada para aquecer a sala, pode ser o sorriso que sempre tinha quando entrava no pátio da casa da minha avó...enfim todos nós temos recordações e ainda bem!

Cada imagem é para mim uma recordação vivida e captada e não mais apenas uma visualização de uma fotografia distante encontrada em revista ou livro.

There are sites, places, spaces and atmospheres that stay written forever in our memory.

It can be the sound of the wooden stairs of a house that you have lived in, it can be the smell of the burned wood in the fireplace of a living room, it can be the smile that I always had as soon as I got to the patio of my grandmother’s house…each one of us has memories!

Each image represents a lived and captured memory and no more a simple distant photograph in a book or magazine.

 

Villa Jeanneret-Perret

L-C 1913: Du moins avons-nous, le matin, le réveil des oiseaux: et à travers le linon blanc des nombreuses et grandes fenêtres, des horizons rapprochés ou éloignés forment tapis de feuillage ou vaste champ de nuages, suivant qu'on refarde à l'est, au sud ou à l'ouest. Et j'ai cherché que chaque chambre ait sa signification et son âme données par son cube d'air et la percée de ses ou de sa fenêtre.

L-C 1954: Le lac est à quatre mètres devant la fenêtre, la route dernièra est à quatre mètres de la porte. La surface à entretenir est de 300 m carrés, moyennant quoi est acquise une vue incomparable et inaliénable sur l'un des beaux horizons du monde.

MMM for H&M

A minha viagem à Suiça fez com que eu tivesse a sorte de vestir as belezas da MMM. Uma colecção com um estilo desconstrutivista que fornece peças bem originais. A maior parte das peças são repetições de colecções já feitas anteriormente. 

Gostei da maior parte apesar de algumas serem mesmo difíceis de vestir :) como por exemplo o vestido azul que aparece aqui . Nem tirei foto porque não consegui vestir o mesmo sozinha hahaha!

Trouxe o body comigo e deixei as botas mais lindas do mundo na loja, estava mesmo fora do orçamento. Fiquei parva quando realizei que as botas custam quase 150 euros mais que em Portugal, não percebo, mesma colecção, mesma loja e uma diferença doida de preços.

My trip to Switzerland gave me the chance to wear these beauties from MMM. A collection with a deconstructive style. The clothing would mostly be reissued pieces from the Margiela archives.

I loved mostly of the pieces even if some of them were really hard to put on :) like the blue dress you can see here . I didn't took photos because I couldn't put it on by myself hahaha!

The body came along with me and left the most beautifull boots in the world at the store, they were really pricy.

I got crazy when I realised that the boots cost more 150 euros in Switzerland than in Portugal, don't understand why, same collection, same and a huge difference of prices.

Estou de volta :) depois de uma semana ausente!

Aqui ficam algumas fotos da minha recente estadia em Lausanne, Suiça. A viagem foi preenchida por arquitectura, moda, passeio, trabalho, projecto e diversão. 

Procurei visitar obras de Le Corbusier, principalmente em La Chaux-de-Fonds, terra natal do arquitecto. Um post será dedicado só à suas obras nos próximos dias.

Tive a sorte de estar presente no lançamento oficial da colecção Maison Martin Margiela for H&M, que também vai merecer um post em breve :)

Fiquei apaixonada pela obra dos SANAA, o Rolex Learning Center, finalizado em 2010. A sua implantação é rectangular mas quando chegamos ao lugar, vemos que o edifício representa uma arquitectura orgânica. Um corpo que descola do chão e quase como que se movimenta ao longo do terreno. Adorei mesmo!

I'm back :) after a week of silence!

Here are some photos of my recent holiday at Lausanne, Switzerland. The trip was filled up with architecture, fashion, tour, work, project and fun.

I took a visit to the buildings of Le Corbusier, especially in La Chaux-de-Fonds, where he was born. A post will be dedicated in a few days only to these buildings.

I had the chance to be at the oficial selling of the Maison Martin Margiela for H&M collection, this one will also have a post soon :)

I fell in love with the SANAA building, the Rolex Learning Center, finished in 2010. The building is rectangular in plan, but appears to be more organic in shape because of the way that its roof and floor undulate gently, always in parallel. I really loved it!

Here I Come CH

Andei um pouco ausente porque vou viajar amanhã para a Suiça. Também trabalhei para a dissertação que nunca mais parece ter fim :) mas foi divertido. Estou a fazer o meu primeiro projecto que vai ser contruido de verdade. É divertido e assustador ao mesmo tempo, um mix de sentimentos mas no final tenho a certeza que vai valer a pena!

Não vou ter net na Suiça mas quando voltar coloco as fotos das minhas visitas às obras do Arq. Le Corbusier, um dos arquitectos que mais admiro.

I've been a little bit 'off' lately because I'm travelling to Switzerland tomorrow. I've also been working on my thesis that seems to never end :) but I had fun. I'm doing my first project that is going to be build for real. It's exciting and scary at the same time, a mix of feelings but I'm sure it will be all worth it in the end!

I'm not going to have internet in Switzerland but I'll post my photos when I'll be back, photos of buildings from Le Corbusier, one of the architects that I admire the most.
